Kansas Eviction Prevention Program

Struggling to Pay Rent Due to COVID?

The Kansas Eviction Prevention Program (KEPP) is a CARES Act funded program run by the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation to provide rental assistance to households behind on rent due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This is a joint application process between tenant and landlord and if approved, the landlord receives the funds directly from KEPP, waives all late fees and agrees to not pursue eviction.

Approved tenants are eligible for a maximum of 9 months of assistance that can date back to April 1, 2020, and may not exceed a total of $5,000 per household.

See the KEPP Fact and Information Sheet for complete details
