The Successful Living Workshop is an interactive workshop targeted at helping families maximize their resources to effectively transition to self-sufficiency. Our facilitators have been providing this service in Douglas County for over 15 years and have many years of practical hands-on experience in the helping field.

During our two week course we tackle issues such as effective parenting, time managment, providing for a family on a limited budget, repairing credit, career choice, improving self-esteem, smart shopping, nutrition, menu planning and creation of positive lifestyle choices and habits.

We partner with other area agencies to provide maximum exposure to community resources. We have partnerships with Consumer Credit Counseling, Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Housing Authority, WTCS, Douglas County AIDS Project, Planned Parenthood and numerous other community advocacy groups.

We currently service both Franklin and Douglas counties.
